Experience
Tristan Kozel is a co-founder of Royse Partners and oversees the firm’s Finance, Accounting, Administration, HR, and IT departments. He has prior experience as a CFO in other organizations, with a strong foundation in financial planning, budgeting, and operational leadership. Combined with his extensive background in petroleum engineering, Tristan brings a thoughtful, analytical perspective to both financial management and the broader systems that support the firm’s day-to-day operations.
In addition to his executive role, Tristan serves as the practice leader and management contact for Royse Partners’ Back Office service offerings, where he works closely with clients to improve their financial and administrative functions. As a small business owner himself, he understands firsthand the importance of efficient back-office processes and applies that perspective when helping clients streamline bookkeeping, payroll, and financial reporting.
Education
Tristan studied Petroleum Engineering and Finance at Marietta College. He was actively involved in various clubs and organizations, and enjoyed helping to plan the annual AADE sporting clays shoot.
Personal
Outside of work, Tristan enjoys travelling, birdwatching, and spending time with his family. In his spare time, he volunteers with hospice patients and delivers Meals on Wheels to the disabled and homebound elderly.
