About Nick

Nick Weiss is Director of Client Growth at Royse Partners Limited, where he helps companies in the agriculture and cannabis industries identify opportunities to accelerate growth and innovation through strategic tax incentive programs, including the Research & Development (R&D) Tax Credit.

Nick brings a distinctive combination of commercial leadership, controlled environment agriculture (CEA) expertise, and tax credit strategy to his work. By connecting technical innovation with financial incentives, he helps businesses maximize available resources, improve profitability, and reinvest in continued growth.

Prior to joining Royse Partners, Nick spent more than a decade in the CEA industry. He built and led high-performing sales teams across North America while supporting the growth of energy-efficient equipment manufacturers and cultivation technology companies. His extensive experience in agricultural operations, greenhouse cultivation, and indoor growing environments gives him a practical understanding of the challenges facing innovative growers and agricultural businesses. This industry knowledge enables him to identify opportunities where technical advancement and financial incentives intersect, delivering meaningful value to clients.

Education

Nick earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Denison University and later completed his Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Mount St. Joseph University.

Personal

Based in Ohio, Nick enjoys an active outdoor lifestyle that includes biking, kayaking, and skiing. Before attending graduate school, he hiked half of the Appalachian Trail with his dog, an experience that reflects his appreciation for challenge, perseverance, and exploration. An avid gardener and greenhouse enthusiast, Nick also enjoys working on gardening projects and spending time with his wife, two cats, and husky puppy.
