About Mikala
As an R&D Project Associate, Mikala serves as a primary point of contact throughout the R&D credit study process and assists in the assessment of her clients’ qualified research activities. With a background in biological research and wildlife conservation, Mikala particularly enjoys working with companies in fields such as biotechnology, agriculture, and the life sciences.
Education
Mikala earned a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from The Ohio State University, where she graduated cum laude with a focus on ecology and animal behavior.
Personal
One of Mikala’s greatest passions is dog training, having spent over five years as a volunteer trainer for a service dog training nonprofit organization. Despite having worked hands-on with over 40 animal species in her lifetime, her favorite animal remains the dog.
