Gregg Dyakon

Practice Leader – Green Energy and Real Estate

Experience

Gregg Dyakon is a founding member of Royse Partners and uses his engineering background and technical skills of design and energy sustainability to assist businesses and investors in building for a more sustainable future. Prior to Royse Partners, he worked as a Completion and Production manager for an E&P company in West Texas, optimizing processes and introducing electrification techniques into daily field operations.

As a certified RESNET HERS® Rater, Gregg works with residential developers to design and qualify energy efficient single-family and multi-family residential homes to claim the Section 45L tax credit. In addition to the residential sector, Gregg works with commercial building owners, designers, and tax-exempt entities to align with sustainability goals while leveraging valuable incentives such as the Energy Efficient Commercial Building Property Deduction (Section 179D) and conducting Cost Segregation studies to accelerate depreciation while looking for energy-efficient improvements.

Education

Gregg attended Marietta College in Marietta, Ohio, as a student-athlete in baseball, receiving his Bachelor of Science in petroleum engineering.

Personal

Gregg has recently become an uncle and spends as much time as he can with family. If he’s not golfing in his free time, he’s most likely enjoying his time building something or tending to his bonsai trees.
